Life is what you make it...

After a very long time, I have got back to reading books or rather reading anything. I needed something light which wouldn’t need too much of my energy to devour it. I picked up Preeti Shenoy’s, Life is what you make it. The book is simply awesome. It is a story about how some emotions should not be suppressed. It made me emotional with the turn of events and how helpless one feels when one is stuck in situation and one can only cry out to their parents for help like a small kid. I wanted to devour it at one go but I am not a fast reader like Ankita, the lead in the story, so it took me 3 days to complete it. She has a super brain, has a photographic memory. She can store the whole book in her memory, word by word. She doesn’t sleep for days together and that’s when all hell breaks loose, making her miserable. From being a topper in her MBA exams to attempting suicide twice… it all explains that nothing is permanent.
The story is actually a real life story. People so get so engrossed in their work, that they tend lose touch of time and space. They make a world of their own and apply their own set of rules, until the realization day. Another story showing how to value life.

So nicely said dear! I agree to every bit of it! The more selfless you are, the more happier you will be!
