Year 2011

The year 2011 was simply the best. Preparation for my marriage started from January, including shifting back to my hometown. Running after managers for release and then finding a decent project. It took a long time but then at the end it was worth it. Welcomed my little princess in February, and seeing her grow throughout the year. Me being the first one to hold her in my arms, felt so happy. Thinking of how she looked when she was born and now how she looks, surprises me as I didn’t realize how quickly she grew. Girls grow up so quickly, rightly said. Seeing her learning to cry the first day was so painful, and then her first huge cry, once her throat was clear. Keeping her mummy awake throughout the night and daddy awake throughout the day. With March and April flying away, May was a busy month, with wedding shopping and packing my bags. With a smooth wedding and off to The Marvelous Mauritius. June saw me trying to be a house-wife for a short duration and with July round the corner, I had to go back to find a project for myself. Took around a month and a half to get a project and come back. Once back, I have been juggling between office and kitchen and loving it. September wasn’t much happening. November was a bit depressing as well as a lot more exciting. Losing my phone was such a huge shock, but welcoming a ebook reader was very very exciting. And with December, my cousin finally got married after a year and a half of courtship. A little get-together, meeting all the relatives. A year back people used to ask when are you going to get married, and now they ask, when is the little one going to come. Ahem Ahem! Let you know as soon as I come to know. That’s how I summarize, 2011.

Happy New Year 2012.

Have been thinking of new year resolutions…
